#Fractora #SkinTightening – a patient’s perspective on the #nonsurgicalfacelift
Treatment day
I feel rather nervous but excited. My face was numbed all over with cream and I waited for approx. an hour. Angelica started treatment which was relatively painless but on occasions a pulling sensation. The biggest thing for me was the smell! Just like a burnt roast dinner! She performed a lower face treatment.
Face slightly red and spot bleeding in some areas. I did go hope by train and thought people next to me could possibly smell the burnt smell. As well as that when I got home I had spots of blood on my face, people must had thought I had been attacked!
4 hours later my face was burning, but not uncomfortably; and bright red as if I had been on a sunbed. I took 2 x ibruprofen to combat any swelling and pain and rinsed my face every 2 hours with white vinegar & boiled water.

Day 1
Woke with no pain and very little redness. I am Sure I can see a result already! Particularly around my turkey neck J Quite swollen under my left eye and what looks like scratches over my face. My skin feels very dry and having to resist the urge to moisturise but keep on with the vinegar water.
Keep looking in the mirror – I am certain I can see a difference.

Day 3
Work today. Have applied bio oil as Angelica said that this will be fine. My skin drank it thirstily. I also put on some tinted moisturiser to try and prevent questioning at work around the scratches. More itchy and dry today.
Keep checking myself in the mirror. I think I may ask Angelica to do my forehead next time (1st March) as it may lift my brows, which I normally have done with botox.
So far very pleased with results.
Day 5
The red vein spot under my eye seems much lighter, I am so glad!
Skin almost back to normal and really seems tighter, especially around my jowls and neck. There is still a slight scaling affect which is a little like dandruff but not noticeable other to myself. Can’t wait to see what next the next session will bring!!!
NB: on reflection and as I have downy hair on my face I will have it threaded off a week before next treatment.

Second fractora treatment
Had threading done a week prior as didn’t want to smell like a hog roast. Not as painful as first time or maybe because I wasn’t so apprehensive. This time I made sure I had a mirror in my bag so I didn’t scare the commuters on the way home. Not as red second time around. Redness went down this time within 36 hrs. people at work said I looked fresher.

One week after fractora back to normal, no more scaling.
Blast! 3 weeks after a blooming cold sore could be a coincidence but small price to pay.
Definitely a difference since treatments more marked on my neck area after the first session. This time seems to have had more affect to my jowls. I do admire my refreshed look – often and think I’m looking good for 51 (vanity but hell I look good!)
Went out up town and I was stopped in toilets and asked how old I was. Surprised when I told her as she thought I was early 40s. Was retelling tale at work to a 20 year old lad. He sat looking at me for a minute until he confessed that’s how old he thought I was too! Sooooo it works! But noticed more by others pleased as it is a subtle natural difference! No scarring no wind tunnel just looking good! _______________________________________________________________
Third and final stage: #HydraFacial
Omg what a treat! Skin after feels a bit warm on way home but smooth and clean.
Oooo just in and I have a pink glow skin looks more even and smoother.
just checked a before treatment pic n wow neck n jowls are significantly tighter than before treatment plan – amazing!
#HydraFacial has had a great affect on my open pores and looks so clean! Can only imagine the drastic changes after regular treatments. Thumbs up from me! The whole of my face just looks fresher and my skin much younger.
Overall: would I recommend it? Without a question of a doubt! Little down time, no anaesthetic or scarring. Infact, it feels just like beauty treatments.
Affects: amazing, natural, – good improvement of skin texture and tautness.
51? Blah its just a number 🙂
Great summary! I saw Dr. Nelson, who did around my eyes with Fractora. I definitely notice a huge improvement. My crow’s feet have significantly diminished, and my eyes seem more lifted. This is a great way to combat wrinkles without surgery. Thx for the post!
It’s good to have such positive feedback – glad you hear you about your experience.
Hi Angelica! Thanks for being so transparent with sharing your experience… my wife and I are both considering having some work done ourselves but let’s be honest, it’s scary to think about going under the knife! could you give me your opinion on these non surgical facelift techniques? Can I really count on any of these for results? 😦 ???
http://skintighteningsage.com/the-elusive-non-surgical-facelift/
Dear EJ, apologies for taking so long to reply…results associated with non-surgical techniques are very dependent on an individual’s skin tone and laxity.
If you are in your 30 -40’s then non surgcail procedures can be very effective. If in your 50’s however then results might not be as you hope/expect
Thanks
I am in the waiting room right now, awaiting my 1st fractora treatment, smeared with numbing cream…your summery has given me confidence that i am doing something really good for my skin’s appearance 🙂
How did it go Karina?
Tomorrow is day 5 and I still look like an alligator and still see the red marks and pricks that were performed on me. Should I be concerned?
Sorry to hear you’re having issues Mollie, have things settled down a bit now as your post is dates March 8th?
